Emmys Fashion: True Blue
This year's Emmys saw a sea of pale tones: white, off white, paler than pale pink - but if you want to talk bright colors - it was all about blue. And no wonder - everywhere you look this fall are navy blue dresses, sky blue dresses and teal blue dresses. It's not surprising designers would want to represent what they also have in the stores as the big red carpet color. And it's not surprising Hollywood stylists would want to embrace it - and look very fashion forward.

We're getting used to the fact that every red carpet - like every new season - shows off one truly hot color that reflects where fashion is - or is going - at the moment. Up until five years ago, red carpet gowns were a parade of all black, white or gold, so we used to have to be grateful for pops of color where we find them.
