Kate Middleton's Gifted Prince George Nameplate Necklace: Get the Look!

Although she has the crown jewels at her fingertips, Kate Middleton may actually prefer a more simple -- and meaningful -- bauble.

In fact, the gold necklace by Merci Maman that the Duchess of Cambridge has been spotted wearing has double significance. The charms honor the July birth of her son, Prince George, and the necklace was a gift from her younger sister, Pippa, a source tells Us Weekly.

Middleton's gold-plated long chain features three charms: a mini-heart engraved with "W" for Prince William, a circular pendant with "George Alexander Louis," and a little boy charm.

The hand-engraved token, now named The Duchess Necklace, retails for about $148. Customers choose from two chain lengths and silver or gold-plated metals.
